Scapa Flow
Always a popular destination, Sunstar headed north in 2002. Description in the Oct 02 issue.

East

Felixstowe
Just to prove we do dive on our own doorstep there are reports of diving on wrecks near Shipwash (11 miles out) and the Arethusa and Fort Masoc. There's a tale of diving the Forth in August '01 here. There's always the submarine E30 some 20 miles offshore at around 30m. Tracey described her experience of diving it in 2001.
Sea Palling
Diving out of Sea Palling on Calypso in August '02. This was on the Artemisia. On the same weekend Helen went out on Starfish to dive the M/S Ems. Both reports are in the September '02 issue.
Weybourne
There are various sites reachable from Weybourne, but the closest is the Rosalie. Some words from Suzie Thompson in the August '01 issue.

West

Pembroke
After a gap of some four years there was a club trip in 2002 to Pembroke. Under the banner of "Saving the Wales" it appeared in the August '02 issue.

South East

Dover
Eastbourne
It was supposed to be Dover but turned out to be Eastbourne. Mixed fortunes in diving the Alaunia and "The Gun Wreck" written up the October '03 issue.
It makes you wonder why they tried after their experience earlier in the year.
Littlehampton
Bob joined weekend a trip organised by Bury St Edmunds BSAC in July 2003. The dives included ones on an Iron Ore Carrier and a Trawler.
It does seem a favourite with trips in 2002, and 2001.

South West

Falmouth
It's a long haul down to Falmouth, but according to the article in the August '02 issue, those that made the effort in July '02 were well rewarded.
Lyme Regis
A September trip in '03 that made it immediately into the September issue of SubScript.
The year before Pete & Helen had been whizzing round the Salsette on their new scooters.
Portland
This was used in Easter 2003 as a "warm up" for the season.
Towards the end of 2002 this was used as a launch point for Calypso for some scallop hunting and the Blackhawk. Words are here with the introduction (and Swanage Pier) here.
A few words from Dawn on the delights of Warbarrow Bay in April 2001 with the water temperature in single digits is here.
Swanage Pier
A late season trip in 2002 included this famous landmark. Descriptions of the trip appeared in the October '02 and November '02 issues.

North East
The deep wrecks off North east Eire on the Loyal Watcher were the target of Pete and Helen (and their scooters) in September '02. The write up made the October '02 issue.
The Skelligs
