At the end of the month (Saturday 28th/Sunday 29th) it's time for LIDS. As usual the club will be making a visit. Contact David if you wish to join the trip and let him know which day you would prefer. This year we have two tickets to give away to lucky winners of a difficult competition. All you have to do is answer the following question: Where is LIDS 2009 taking place? Answer to the Chairman by word-of-mouth, email, phone or whatever by Monday 19th March. Winners will be drawn from a hat in the Lord Nelson that evening. |

The AGM has been and gone, and we have a new Committee. |

In early November a group of members abandoned the English weather for a trip to Gran Canaria (not shown in the photo!). We're hoping for a report shortly. |

Come mid October there was a weekend trip to Portland. The intention was to take Calypso, but overcooked trailer bearings meant it got left behind. A local RIB was used to visit the Countess of Erne and for a number of drift dives. Alan entertained the group with a Michelin Man impression thanks to a failed dry suit zip. |

In October a small group headed of to Gozo. The island offers good food, good wine and relaxed warm(ish) water diving with excellent visibility. Evidence of the diving can be found in the Photo Gallery. |

At the beginning of September a select group headed off to west coast of Ireland and the Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind so the diving was rather restricted. |
